Taking part is always voluntary. You only accept the invitations you want and can leave the panel at any time.

Scammers sometimes use the names of research firms. These tips help you stay safe.
- Checon never asks for passwords, codes sent by text message, card details, payments or Pix transfers, not even to release an incentive.
- The interviewer gives their name, says they’re calling on behalf of Checon Pesquisa and explains the topic of the study.
- If in doubt, check with Checon before answering: Verify a survey or official WhatsApp.

Aggregate analysis
Results are reported in aggregate. Individual answers are never identified in reports.

Data handled in line with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018) and Checon’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
You are in control
You can ask to update or delete your registration at any time through the data subject request form. Registrations with no participation for 2 years are deleted.

Will I get anything for taking part?
Yes. Every panel survey comes with an incentive. The type and amount vary by study and are stated in the invitation, before you decide whether to take part.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. Signing up and taking part are free, and Checon never charges anything to deliver incentives.
How long does a survey take?
It depends on the format: an online questionnaire is usually quicker than a discussion group. The estimated time is always in the invitation.
How often will I be invited?
There’s no set number. Invitations arrive when a study is looking for a profile like yours, and Checon manages how often they’re sent so no one is overloaded.
Will I be invited to every survey?
Not necessarily. Each study looks for a specific participant profile, and we only send invitations when your profile fits the survey’s audience.
Can I turn down an invitation?
Yes. Each invitation is separate, and you decide whether to take part in that study.
How do I know an invitation is really from Checon?
Check the Verify a survey page or contact Checon on WhatsApp or by phone. Checon never asks for passwords, bank details or payments.
Is my data sold or shared?
No. Checon doesn’t sell or share personal data. Clients who commission a study receive only aggregated results, with no way to identify who answered.
How do I leave the panel?
Request deletion through the data subject request form or email privacidade@checonpesquisa.com.br. Your data will be removed from our database.
